Depart central Dublin this morning and enjoy a 2.5 hour road trip across the rolling emerald countryside of Ireland.
Today's route takes you through the picture postcard wilderness of Connemara, a Gaelic speaking region littered with the abandoned homesteads of the Great Famine of the 1840s-50s.
Enjoy a visit to the fascinating historic silver mine at Glengowla with show mines below ground and displays of traditional farming methods including sheepdogs above ground.
The onward road to Galway takes you through iconic Irish landscapes from the Ma'am Valley past Rossaveal (where the boats depart for Aran Islands across Galway Bay) and Spiddle.
Arrive into Galway by mid afternoon and enjoy an optional walking tour and the rest of the day at leisure.
Soak up the atmosphere of this most Gaelic city as you walk through Shop Street and the Latin Quarter. There's a wonderul array of traditional pubs and restaurants, many with the famous local oysters in season.

Day 2: Galway - Strandhill - Derry
Depart Galway after a delicious breakfast this morning and continue on the journey towards Derry far on Ireland's north coast.
The tour will take you on a road trip through Connemara and through Co. Mayo and Co. Sligo.
We'll pause around lunchtime for a visit to the seaside resort town of Strandhill. This is one of the principal surfing towns in Ireland (think Huntington Beach in the rain) and the Atlantic breakers and stunning beach are something to behold.
We recommend The Strand Bar for a good lunch and maybe a pint or glass of something local.
Refreshed, the tour continues to Derry / Londonderry in Northern Ireland.
Enjoy a walking tour of Derry's famous city walls and hear all about the famous siege of 1689 and the Bloody Sunday tragedy of 1972.
Overnight in Derry for the next two nights. The locals are amongst the friendliest in Ireland and there are some amazing restaurants and pubs to discover. Perhaps check out Peadar O'Donnell's famous music bar in the old town - a must visit!
Day 3: Derry - Dunluce Castle - Giants Causeway - Dark Hedges - Derry
Explore the world famous Causeway Coastal route today with visits to UNESCO Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Dark Hedges.
Overnight Derry
Day 4: Derry - Titanic Belfast - Black Taxi Tour (optional) - Monasterboice - Dublin
Your final day on tour will take you to Belfast where you can enjoy a visit to Titanic Belfast (entrance included), Political Black Taxi Tour (EUR 20.00 / GBP 15.00) and time at leisure in Northern Ireland's capital.
We'll depart Belfast around 14:00 - 14:30 making a stop at the ruins of Monasterboice for photos and fresh air en route to Dublin. We'll stop at Dublin Airport at 16:30 approx. and finish in Dublin at 17:00 approx.
