Itinerary

  • 13:00 – Depart Belfast

Your adventure begins as we depart Belfast and head toward the stunning northern coast of Northern Ireland. The scenic route along the Antrim coast offers breathtaking views of rolling hills meeting the dramatic cliffs of the Irish Sea.

NB: We meet in front of the famous Europa Hotel, on Great Victoria Street, BT2 7AP - right in the very heart of Belfast. (The bus typically collects from Glengall Street, just off Great Victoria Street - so keep a watchful eye)
  • 14:00 – Photo Stop at Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

We'll stop briefly at Carrick-a-Rede, famous for its rope bridge that once connected the mainland to the small island of Carrick.

Suspended 30 meters above the sea, this location provides incredible panoramic views of the coastline and Rathlin Island. Although the bridge is currently closed to groups due to conservation efforts (only SUVs are permitted access), you'll still be able to enjoy the striking views and snap some great photos of the rugged landscape.
  • 15:30 – Arrive at the Giant’s Causeway

Next, we’ll reach the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most remarkable natural wonders in the world.

Formed over 60 million years ago by volcanic eruptions, the site features around 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, creating a truly surreal landscape. Explore the area and learn about the fascinating geological history from your guide, who will also share the famous legend of Finn McCool.

The incredible views and natural beauty make this a truly unforgettable experience.
  • 17:00 – Depart the Giant’s Causeway

After an hour and a half of exploration, we’ll begin our journey back to Belfast.
  • 17:30 – Drive Through the Dark Hedges

On the way back, we’ll pass through the famous Dark Hedges, a picturesque avenue of ancient beech trees, their branches twisting overhead. This spot is not only a photographer's dream but also a notable *Game of Thrones* filming location.

While we won't be stopping, you’ll have the chance to take in the striking scenery as we drive through.
  • 18:30 – Arrive Back in Belfast

We’ll return to Belfast by 18:30, completing a day full of awe-inspiring landscapes and unforgettable sights, leaving you with lasting memories of Northern Ireland’s natural beauty.
